Alice Jackson holds a BA hons in Drama and an MA in Classical Acting from Central School of Speech and Drama. Professionally Alice works as an actress, dancer and choreographer in Theatre, Film and TV. Credits include: The Other Boleyn Girl (Sony Films), Inkheart (Newline films), Little Dorrit (BBC), Sense and Sensibility (BBC), Lost in Austen (ITV), French and Saunders Mamma Mia for Comic Relief (BBC). Prior to founding Shine on Stage, Alice had taught extensively for seven years in leading stage schools such as Italia Conti, ALRA and Central School of Speech and Drama, many primary and secondary schools, and for many organisations and theatre companies such as QCA, Stagecoach, English Touring Theatre, and Thrift Theatre. She is now thrilled to be able to draw on her extensive experience and deliver experiences with Shine on Stage which are second to none! Please take a moment to read some of our testimonials.

Jeff Nicholson (Nascot Wood Infants/ Nascot Wood Juniors - Drama)
Jeff trained at Mountview Academy of Performing Arts. He is currently in Les Miserables at The Queens Theatre in London’s West End. His other credts include: Mamma Mia, Sweeney Todd, Hell Boy 2, Hitchikers guide to the galaxy.
Irene Moss (Nascot Wood Infants - Dance)
Irene trained at The Arts Educational School in Chiswick. Irene has toured extensively through Europe in a diverse number of roles spanning Shakespeare, Physical Theatre and Dance. She recently completed ‘Uriel’, a film showing at Cannes this year.
Hollie Johanson Smith (Victoria First School – Dance)
Hollie is a graduate of Guildford School of Acting
Hollie’s Professional Theatre Credits include BBC Performing Arts Fund Choir, BBC Proms Sondheim at 80 (Royal Albert Hall, London), Cinderella (Mercury Theatre, Colchester) Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford), Aladdin (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), A Night of a Thousand Star’s (Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury). Hollie is currently and has been teaching both Dance and Drama with well-known Theatre Schools for the last four years. Hollie’s versatile and fun nature creates a buzz within a classroom and not only do the children feel engaged but also challenged and enthused. Hollie is very excited to become part of the faculty at Shine on Stage and is looking forward to motivating the children and making the very best of their talents, but most of all, to have fun!!
Lianne Cloot (Nascot Wood Juniors Dance, Cassiobury Juniors Dance, Intermediate Street Jazz)
Lianne started dancing at the age of three. She trained professionally at The Margaret Howard Theatre College, gaining experience in contemporary and jazz dance, musical theatre and performance, as well as dance teaching qualifications where she achieved; FDIs in Ballet, Tap and Modern and CDEs in Ballet and Modern. Whilst at college Lianne achieved advanced one level in all 3 genres and also had the opportunity to dance on MSC cruise liners, appear on GMTV and perform in charity events such as race for life which gave her tremendous experience. Lianne has been teaching since the age of 15, starting off as an assistant, and now has been teaching a variety of classes at many different dance schools full time for the past 3 years.
Jon Morgan (Stroud Stage School – Drama)
Jon trained in theatre acting at drama school in Bristol. He then went on to perform in musical theatre national tours as well as TV and film roles. For the last two years Jon has been working with the Roses Youth Theatre in Tewkesbury and leading drama workshops across Gloucestershire.
Alan Mandel
From Alan’s first appearance on stage at the Karachi American School in Pakistan at the age of 7, he has worked exceptionally hard to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He has led a varied life after being born in Brazil and has had the opportunity to travel the world at an early age. He has appeared in a number of productions ranging from new musicals (including Requiem for Tomorrow and Flamingo Blues) to BBC films alongside Colin Firth (Born Equal), and has directed numerous short films and plays. Most notably the multi award winning ‘On Ice’, for which he was awarded Best Film and Best Director at the 2 Days Later International Film Festival 2008.
Charlotte Coulson Kurowski (Stroud Stage School - Sparkles Teacher)
Charlotte is originally from the Isle of Wight, and began her dance training at the age of three then went on to study her ISTD DDI at Chichester College. Charlotte has performed in many shows and played principal roles in pantomimes. She currently dances in a Cabaret troop called the ‘Flaming Feathers’ based in Bristol. She loves teaching and creates a relaxed environment when teaching so the students enjoy and get the most possible out of the lesson.
Hayley Williams (Stroud Stage School - Dance Teacher)
Hayley graduated from Bath Spa University in 2007 with a BA in Dance and has over 20 years experience in performing and teaching. She has performed on stage with Magician Daniel Dean, danced alongside Wayne Sleep and starred as one of the Fireball Dancers in both Winter Garden Summer shows Switched on Swing and A Night at the Movies.

Gareth Chart (Musical Theatre Tutor)
Gareth trained at Mountview Academy of Performing Arts. He is an accomplished performer having taken roles in Mamma Mia (both show and film), Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Trevor Nunn’s production of Gone with the Wind. Gareth is currently performing in Wicked in the west end.
Sama Goldie (Acting/ Acting for Screen Tutor)
Sama trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. TV credits include Eastenders, Doctors and most recently, BBC3's critically-acclaimed comedy drama, Being Human.
Sam Vale
Sam is a dancer and choreographer. She has worked with Rhianna and danced on the Xfactor, Top of The Pops and many other TV shows. She recently choreographed for BBC1's Let's Dance for Comic Relief.
Lizzi Hills
Lizzii Hills trained at The Arts Educational School in Chiswick gaining a 1st Class BAHons in Performance. She has appeared as Velma in Chicago in the west end, in The Rat Pack also west end, and has appeared on a number of TV shows including Eastenders and Hollyoakes.
