58 of our pupils and parents came with us to see Mary Poppins at Bristol Hippodrome. After a fantastic performance we met the children’s director; Mark Hedges Manuel, and performers; Jaquie Hughes, Rebecca Lock too.
It was an inspirational trip for all. The set was fantastic, the choreography slick (unsurprisingly as Stephen Mear and Matthew Bourne collaborated), singing and acting bang on and the special effects and costume out of his world! The pupils relished meeting the cast and creatives afterwards and Mark Hedges Manuel has promised to come down to do a workshop when he is next free! Hurrah!
