Spring Term: 14th January – 24th March 2012 (excluding Saturday 11th February for half term.)
- Main School (7 – 18 yrs): 9.30am – 12.30am
- Sparkles (4 – 5.5 yrs): 9.00am – 10.30am
- Sparkles (5.5 – 7 yrs): 10.45am – 12.15am

What to expect:
- Our stage school year is split into three ten-week terms. During the winter and spring term we work on technical skills and present a demonstration to parents at the end of the spring term. During the summer term we work towards a show and will supply short reports to you every other term so that you can keep up to date with your child's progress. As well as all of this you can expect VIP masterclasses and fantastic performance opportunities including shows at The Cotswold Playhouse! We are a school focussed on nurturing confidence, inspiring creativity and promoting positive self esteem. We believe every child has the ability to......Shine!
Main School age groups:
7 – 9yrs/ 10 -12yrs/ 13- 18 yrs. Each group spends an hour on each discipline; Drama, Dance and Singing.
Uniform:
- Uniform is not compulsory for the first term but by your second term your child should have a Shine on Stage t-shirt/ vest. We do not supply trousers. Any black tracksuit bottoms, leggings, jazz pants are acceptable. Jazz shoes are compulsory and are available from any dancewear specialist or online. Teens may wear Jazz Sneakers.
Fees:
Main School: 10 week term £200.00 per child (each additional sibling at £180.00)
Sparkles School: 10 week term £100.00 per child (each additional sibling £90.00)

- Fees are payable in full at time of booking.
- You have a two week grace period. If after two weeks your child does not want to continue, we will refund you the fees for the remaining weeks of term. Once the first two weeks have passed we will not refund any fees.
- We will invoice you at the end of each term for the following term's fees. If your child does not want to continue, you need to let us know in writing by the final week of term. After which point you will be liable to pay part or all of the following term's fees, in line with our terms and conditions.
Main School (7 – 9yrs/ 10-12yrs/13 -18yrs): 3 groups spend 3 hours evenly split between Drama, Dance, and Singing.
- Drama Teacher: Jon Morgan. Stroud Stage School. Jon trained in theatre acting at drama school in Bristol. He then went on to perform in musical theatre national tours as well as TV and film roles. For the last two years Jon has been working with the Roses Youth Theatre in Tewkesbury and leading drama workshops across Gloucestershire.
- Singing Teacher: Alan Mandel. Stroud Stage School.
From Alan’s first appearance on stage at the Karachi American School in Pakistan at the age of 7, he has worked exceptionally hard to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He has led a varied life after being born in Brazil and has had the opportunity to travel the world at an early age. He has appeared in a number of productions ranging from new musicals (including Requiem for Tomorrow and Flamingo Blues) to BBC films alongside Colin Firth (Born Equal), and has directed numerous short films and plays. Most notably the multi award winning ‘On Ice’, for which he was awarded Best Film and Best Director at the 2 Days Later International Film Festival 2008.
- Dance Teacher: Hayley Williams. Hayley graduated from Bath Spa University in 2007 with a BA in Dance and has over 20 years experience in performing and teaching. She has performed on stage with Magician Daniel Dean, danced alongside Wayne Sleep and starred as one of the Fireball Dancers in both Winter Garden Summer shows Switched on Swing and A Night at the Movies.
Sparkles: 90 minutes evenly split between Drama, Dance, and Singing.
- Sparkles Teacher: Charlotte Coulson Kurowski. Charlotte is originally from the Isle of Wight, and began her dance training at the age of three then went on to study her ISTD DDI at Chichester College. Charlotte has performed in many shows and played principal roles in pantomimes. She currently dances in a Cabaret troop called the ‘Flaming Feathers’ based in Bristol. She loves teaching and creates a relaxed environment when teaching so the students enjoy and get the most possible out of the lesson.
